Gus Freeman knows what it takes. Because he’s done it. From hitting off a tee in the backyard at age two to earning All-Conference Honors at the Division I level—Gus Freeman’s baseball journey is proof of what hard work and purpose-driven training can accomplish.
Gus grew up in Leawood, Kansas, playing competitive baseball every summer and acting as a leader on every team he joined. After earning All-Conference Honors in high school, he played at Cowley County Junior College, where he helped lead his team to the Junior College World Series.From there, Gus transferred to Austin Peay State University, where he was a consistent threat at the plate and a leader in the dugout.
