Raised in Kansas... entrepreneur, son, brother, friend, and a former member of the Austin Peay Govs baseball program.  3.5+ GPA and multiple honors throughout my collegiate baseball career for both athletics and academics.  Experiences in sales, entrepreneurship, and hard work!

Gus Freeman knows what it takes. Because he’s done it. From hitting off a tee in the backyard at age two to earning All-Conference Honors at the Division I level—Gus Freeman’s baseball journey is proof of what hard work and purpose-driven training can accomplish.

Gus grew up in Leawood, Kansas, playing competitive baseball every summer and acting as a leader on every team he joined. After earning All-Conference Honors in high school, he played at Cowley County Junior College, where he helped lead his team to the Junior College World Series.From there, Gus transferred to Austin Peay State University, where he was a consistent threat at the plate and a leader in the dugout. Gus finished his college career with:

• A batting average over .313 
• One of the highest on-base percentages in his conference  
• NCAA D1 Top 10 national ranking in hit-by-pitch 
• Multiple All-Conference honors at multiple positions: First Base and Catcher  

But what truly sets Gus apart is his coaching style.Gus combines technical knowledge with personal mentorship. He believes in developing players not just physically—but mentally. He helps athletes build confidence, grit, and a growth mindset that translates both on and off the field.

His philosophy?

“Baseball is hard enough already—why not get instruction from someone who’s been there, knows what it takes, and truly cares about your success? Being a student athlete is tough, but with an Intentional Plan the journey is very fulfilling and can create many memories and leadership opportunities for the student athlete.”
